Last week, Jayne passed the last of the exams needed to achieve her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning through the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
To achieve this qualification, Jayne needed to pass exams in a number of areas, including regulation, personal taxation, trusts, investments, pensions and protection. After passing exams on each of these topics, she then needed to pass a further exam to test her ability to pull this knowledge together within a client case study.
We are delighted to see all of Jayne's hard work pay off. In the coming weeks, months and years we are sure that this knowledge will be put to good use in helping clients meet their goals and objectives. Well done Jayne! ... See MoreSee Less

Last year, Kirsty and Matthew welcomed baby Albie and recently they were married at Achnagairn Castle near Inverness. Everyone at WW would like to congratulate the new Mr and Mrs Whitefoot and wish them all the very best. ... See MoreSee Less

Then, last week, they were delighted to be able to attend a careers event at Elgin Academy again, discussing careers with the students and telling them about Watson Wood and what we do. This allowed them to highlight why a career in financial services can be rewarding and enjoyable. ... See MoreSee Less

On Tuesday our Financial Planners Kirsty Watson and Shelley McMillan were invited to UHI Inverness for the kick off of this years Future Asset competition.
Future Asset educate girls across Scotland about the Investment Management industry. Encouraging more young women to seek career opportunities within the Finance Industry.
Did you know, until recently there were more UK fund managers called Dave than there were female fund managers. #BudgeUpDave
It was great to see the enthusiasm and confidence in the room and we cannot wait to see how each team does in the first round.
